    Needs vs Wants

For me it's the complete opposite. I played bass for the better half of 15 years off and on, in bands and jamming alone, and when I picked up guitar (it will be 4 years now) I found guitar to be way harder than bass. Different techniques, and I find guitar way harder to fake than bass. Bass can...

    Removing pickup covers

I wanted to try and remove the pickup covers on my SG Pro because I enjoy the aesthetic of not having the covers on. Do I need a soldering iron to remove them or can I just score the solder with a razor blade and remove the covers with a set of pliers? I'm really hoping there would be a set of...

Selling used guitars at insane prices

What is with dudes trying to sell a used guitar for almost the same price as a new one of the same model? This guy is trying to sell a used Epi Les Paul Muse for $600 CAD and a brand new one is on sale for $699 CAD. Am I missing something here? Do used Epiphones retain their value or something...

    Thinking about something different

I have a love for bluegrass music and I've been playing and learning bluegrass on my acoustic and it has me thinking, it would be cool to break into something different like either a mandolin or a banjo and I'm torn between which one. I could get both eventually but I want to break the ice into...

I usually keep on hand what I'm going to use. Anything over 7 at a time is too much IMO

13.77" radius vs 14" radius. Are they they same?

They should, it affects the playability of the guitar

13.77" radius vs 14" radius. Are they they same?

As the title suggests, if a guitar has a 350mm radius (13.77") would this technically be 14"? Would you be able to just adjust saddles to be at 14" or does it have to be 13.77"? There isn't much difference so I don't think it would matter? School me.

    Scam phone calls

Has anyone else been getting an increase in scam phone calls? I'm in Canada, so maybe it's different where you are but it's almost on a daily, sometimes twice daily I will get a call from a scammer in the form of a lotto or Amazon scam. Recently I got a call asking me if I wanted to sell my...

    AC/DC songs, easy or hard?

As the title suggests, would you classify AC/DC songs easy or hard to play on guitar? For me, I'm going with they sound easy, but are rather difficult to get to sound right. Angus and Malcolm have some precise technique to say the least. Everyone seems to think that AC/DC should be songs that...
