The only "hole" if you can even call it that is what's called a "butt crack" along the side of a 3 saddle bridge when you replace the stock six saddle bridge but most people just leave it alone since it's so slight. That looks more like a discoloration. If not what am I missing here?

That's an incredibly good price on a top of the line Schecter. Along with Epiphone and G&L Tribute they're another top 5 import brand.

I'm not a tremolo guy anyway so whatta I know other than the complaints I've read from those who have used them. I suppose to some it may like Babicz FCH Bridge. It seems more complex at the start and there's a very specific way to install one and set it up. But once you've done it it's one...

The hammer is the most important of all. If after two hours of trying to get the fret buzz gone and the intonation still won't jive you use the hammer to beat the crap out of the guitar. Then call the dealer telling them that it arrived like that and you'll need a replacement. ;)

That's what I've been saying ever since my kids become adults. My guitars and basses are now my "kids".

I love messing with guitars but other than to replace a speaker or tubes you will not find me messing inside an amp. My one tube amp is cathode biased and the specs provide enough info for me to know what tubes will tend to work best with it so I can even avoid what you're dealing with.

Nothing big.....and I damn well better not either. I blew my gear budget for the rest of the year already. :(
