a low bid was succesful....
not that I really needed another guitar,
price was low enough to flip it with a profit if I don't like it

maybe I'll do a hot SC-sized HB in the bridge

What brand is that, Mr. Resident FGN Lover? The pics were specifically not showing the headstock. ;)

Good snag, for sure. I don't even really like teles, but I'd bet I'd like a FGN tele!

where are you located ?
are there shops that stock them ?
 
US, and FGN never quite made the mark here. Aside from one, all my other FGNs were bought used, from people that didn't appreciate the brand. So no, the music shops here don't stock any FGNs.

Let us know what you think once it's in your hands!

some years ago there had been a few shops, sadly not anymore
FGN is working on a new/other way of distribution since the last NAMM-show
The current tariff-talks sure doesn't help to go forward in this case.

Gladly we have a good distributor, lots of shops and a well sorted used market here.

Years ago I've bought some new ones, lately I've bought mostly direct from Japan (new and used)
via Zen-Market or from big stores like Kurosawa, Ishibashi and Ikebe.
 
NuGD - New used Guitar Day
Zen-Market parcel #8 arrived today,
new record, just 4 days from Osaka to my door via UPS
by now most of the other parcels had been shipped by EMS/DHL
and took mostly 8-10 days.
It is just crazy what you can get from Japan compared to eBay or other local sale-sites
basicly a MiJ Telecaster for the price of a MiC Squier
Black-pearl PG is ordered, I might even try a DiMarzio DP384 Chopper in the bridge position, we'll see
