I'm in the camp of more guitars...Beyond a certain "retail" value the diminishing returns don't do it for me...I'll take multiple "good" guitars over one that has the last 3% trying to justify a "large" increase in the selling price...just me...you do you...

Ha...I don't get to guitar stores much...the small town I live near has no music store...2.5 hours to the nearest place...I don't get to "try" before I buy these days...someday...perhaps...

I used to be an amp guy more than a guitar guy...since I bought the boogie I've not gassed for an amp...like you say, versatile...now I just buy guitars...and play 'em through the boogie...

I've never got on with the necks on the SGs I've had...funky epiphone D shapey thingy...the neck on that monkey sounds more like it to me...

I play almost every day with few exceptions...sometimes up to 3 hours, other times not long if I'm not feeling it...I never really "practice"...I just play what I feel...I'm old, retired and just do what the hell I want...

The plus tops are nice...I acquired one through a trade...like it fine...nice guitars...
