I was eyeballing the jack plate as well. If I can't get suction to work I'll give that a try.

We have a similar idea. I was thinking about those auto glass suction handles. It’s just a standard hot rod deluxe extension cab. Looks like new.

I have a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 1x12 extension cabinet and after removing all the screws the back still won’t come off. I read somewhere that the cabinet is made of particle board, and there is pretty much NO gap in there so I’m wary of trying to just muscle it off with a pry bar, screwdriver...
